"The
furthest North of our Greenhouses, is the North House. This house
presents a challenge to our "boys." The northern winds
of the Midwest are constantly forcing us to deal with the elements sent
from up above. Every year, we peel off the snow hoping that spring
will bloom and people will visit our north room. This greenhouse,
along with it's cohort to the South, has undergone a combination
of changes over the past years. We have added a Tai Chi garden
sitting peacefully between the two greenhouses with a spitting gargoyle
and beautiful Colorado Blue Spruce. The rock garden we created
finishes off the tranquil setting. We have hauled out an approximate 22
tons of pure steel and concrete to make our greenhouses more
accommodating to all our customers. Our new and renovated
greenhouses are constantly up kept by myself, Capt. J. Whaler and my
crew of swabs."
Welcome
to the North House!
Our greenhouse
located to the north maintains a temperature of 65 degrees year round.
Its 15,000 square feet hold seedling and starter plants that require
warmth to grow. Take a look and see what's growing at certain
times of the year. You'd be surprised to see how far ahead of time
we start planting for the next season.
And
in conclusion...
